Welcome to the accommodation pages. The page is under construction and we will shortly be having more detailed information about the services we offer.
The first thing to bear in mind when looking for private accommodation is that you can afford to be fussy. We're in a privileged and somewhat unusual situation here in Leicester because there is more accommodation than there are students to fill it. Not only does this give you a lot of choice with regards to where to live, but it also means that rent levels have barely risen in the last five years.
We provide two services and the first one is the Property Management Scheme where we inspect every property to ensure that it meets the minimum standard set by the Students' Union. The second service is the Advertising scheme where we ensure that the landlords have provided us with proof that their property holds valid Gas & Electricity Safetcy Certificates.
