Welfare & International Officer

 

This person shall act as the principal point of contact between the Students’ Union and University Welfare and International Offices, as well as being responsible for the implementation of the Students’ Union’s Equal Opportunities policy.

 

Another responsibility of this person will be to ensure that welfare information is distributed to all new students, as well as being responsible for ensuring adequate arrangements for the arrival, integration and representation of international students from when they arrive in England.

 

This person will also be responsible for ensuring that relevant information about University and Students’ Union support services is readily available to students, as well as being an advisor to the International Students’ Association and chair of the International Students Committee.
