So What does the Science Education Rep do?

Be the primary representative of undergraduates in their faculty to the Union.

Be the primary representative of undergraduates in their faculty to the University.

Be the primary representative of the Union in their faculty for undergraduates.

Be responsible for co-ordinating the work of undergraduate course representatives within their faculty.

Regularly contacting and updating the course representatives within their faculty about their activities.
-
Reviewing Staff Student Committee minutes from their faculty to derive faculty-wide issues.

Liaise with students and staff in their faculty.

Attend the relevant Union and University Committees and User Groups

Work with the relevant sabbatical officer to co-ordinate undergraduate educational policies of the Union and the University.

Chair their Undergraduate Faculty Course Representatives Council with undergraduate course reps in their faculty to discuss problems etc and discuss issues relating to their staff student committee meetings and other issues within their faculty.

Report all undergraduate educational matters affecting students within their faculty to the Undergraduates Committee.

Present their termly reports to the Undergraduates Committee.

Assist with Undergraduate Educational Campaigns.

Increase awareness of their position and how to communicate with them.
