What a lot of people don't realise is that students are integral to the running of the union too. From the five sabbatical officers to the committees that deal with everything from campaigns to advising on what music we should play at mad-fer-it, students are vital to the running of our union.

If you fancy getting involved check out the elections section, or if all this is a bit overwhelming (we don't blame you if it is - we found it like that to start with too!) then please e-mail campaign.involvement@le.ac.uk and the Campaigns and Involvement Officer should hopefully explain things to you!
Getting involved in running the union is a great way to meet people, get those all important skills for your CV and gain a much greater insight into what your union spends your money on.
