The University of Leicester has submitted a planning application to substantially increase our sporting facilities to the Oadby and Wigston Borough Council.
We need your support to get the proposal passed by the Council.The Students’ Union is organising a petition urging the council to approve the proposal. You can add your name to it by completing the form below:
“I hereby petition the local council in Oadby to agree to the University of Leicester's current proposal for an overhaul of the facilities in Manor Road, which includes a swimming pool, new gym and sports hall. The proposed scheme will bring in much needed improvements to the University sporting and leisure facilities as well as help to make the University more attractive to students. This will not only enhance the University’s reputation but also give us opportunities to make the most of our stay in Leicester.”
