The centre aims to provide opportunities for all students to improve their study skills. Our aim is to help students take charge of their own learning development by giving advice and information suited to the student as an individual.

Individual Consultations

Individual Consultations are an opportunity for you to discuss any study skills queries or concerns you may have with a Study Skills Adviser. Following discussion, we will suggest some practical ways forward with study strategies tailored to suit you as an individual learner. The consultations take place on a drop-in basis so you don't need to make an appointment and you're free to call in again at any point in the future to consult further. Just call into College House and ask at the Information Desk.

The Student Learning Centre also produces 'Study Guides leaflets' which offer clear, practical and up-to-date advice on the most important study skills areas. These free guides are on display in College House for students to take away and use in their own time. Our current list of titles cover
