EXAM RESULTS

If you have just received your examination results and you need some advice on what to do next then this page will hopefully contain the information to help you. If you cannot find the information or just wish to talk to somebody about the situation then please feel free to pop into the office - we're located on the ground floor of the Students' Union Student Support Centre. Alternatively you can email us at educationunit@le.ac.uk or call 0116 223 1202. The service is free, impartial and confidential.

There are two main categories that typical problems can be broken into: -
  • RESULTS BELOW EXPECTATION:- this section gives advice on what to do if you've passed your exams but have not quite done as well as you expected or hoped. It also gives information on how to appeal against the degree classification awarded and what to do if you have mitigating circumstances that affected your performance.
  • FAILED EXAMS:-Unfortunately some students every year fail some of there examinations. The second section explains the options open to you, what will happen next i.e. can I resit, when will the resits be etc..., and the possible outcomes. It also includes information on what to do if you had mitigating circumstances that you feel affected your performance in the examinations.
