The Swimming Club caters for all abilities of swimmers giving you the option of swimming leisurely and at your own pace in the social lanes, or to step up a gear and develop your fitness and technique with the team in the training lanes. Training equipment is available to all members for free use.
Swimmers have the opportunity to compete in friendly galas throughout the academic year and at both the short course and long course British Universities National championships. The Championships are held over two separate weekends at Pond's Forge International swimming pool in Sheffield, and always prove to be competitive, highly entertaining, and great social occasions!
We host regular social nights throughout the year which always prove to be fun, friendly, and a great way of meeting people!
