The Horse Riding Club caters for horse riders of any abilities, from the next Pippa funnell to total beginners.
We ride at two different yards: the beginners at Saddington and the intermediates at Leire. The beginners' yard caters for people who have never ridden before to those wanting to top up their abilities before moving onto the intermediate yard.
The intermediate yard is a competition yard, owned by Kenneth Clawson and Paul Davis (both experienced eventers, having competed and trained world-wide). The horses we ride are ex-eventers, or present eventers in some cases, and the instructors are all fully qualified.
We also have two teams that compete in BUSA and we compete at a high level each year, regularly sending people to the regional and national competitions.
The club has regular social events throughout the year, from comedy nights to bar crawls and trips to national equestrian events.
