The Badminton Club continues to be one of the most popular clubs at the University, with one of the largest number of members appealing to both men and women. The club is set up to cater for all standards of play from the complete beginner to those of county standard, and has coaching available to all members as well as sessions for those who just want to play games.

The club provides all the equipment necessary to play, including shuttles and rackets. However, it is preferable to bring your own racket.

For those looking to play competitively, the club has 5 teams that play in the local Leicestershire league and enters 1 men's team into the BUSA league.

As well as badminton, the club has a healthy social calendar as well with regular nights out and other events such as Bowling, Laser Quest and regular tours to play in European Badminton tournaments.
