The Leicester American Football Club is an affiliation between the University of Leicester and De Montfort University students. The team plays in the Northern Conference of the British Collegiate American Football League (BCAFL).
There is no specific size, weight, speed or gender requirement so the sport is truly open to anyone and everyone. Also, the nature of the game (rolling substitutions) means that everyone in the team will get onto the pitch during the game.
The vast majority of new members have no experience of the game. Half the people who join do not even know the rules, but they want to try something different.
