WELLCOME TO LATIN AMERICAN AND BALLROOM DANCING SOCIETY

 

 

Our aim is to provide to all members of the University of Leicester and De Montfort University a fun enviroment where they can develop their skills on Ballroom dancing. We offer classes on both Latin ( cha cha cha, rumba, samba etc) and Standard (Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot etc) dances delivered by professional teachers. We have a beginner's class for everyone that is new to dancing. It doesn't matter if you have never danced before, if you do not have a partner, if you are a university student or not or if you have two left feet!! 

 

If you want to meet new people, have fun and learn how to dance join us!

 

In addition, if you are a student of Leicester or De Montfort University you will have the opportunity to be a member of Leicester Team. Leicester Team is a team of students of all dancing levels that compete in Inter varsity competitions against other University Teams. If you want to dance more, be a part of a fun and sometimes crazy team and travel to different cities this is the place for you.

 

If you would like more information or a chance to speak to us in person we are going to be participating in Fresher’s Fair on the 29^th and 30^th of September from 10.00 till 16.00 @ Student Union, so feel free to come and visit our stand.

 

Moreover, FIRST CLASS OF THE YEAR is completely FREE and it is going to be held on Monday 6^th October at 19.30 in Queen’s Hall, Student Union!!
