What's ULPS all about?

ULPS is the society for all those studying politics, or who have an interest in politics. Its aim is to organise socials so people get to know each other outside of lectures and tutorials, plus have a good time into the bargin. The way this is done is by a busy social program, organised by the committee ( who are current students ). Over the term we'll put on pub crawls, to the best and cheapest places in town, curries, and stuff like Laser Quest and paintball that''s harder to do on your own. There is also an academic side, where guest speakers are invited to talk about various topics, some of which are directly relevant to your course and modules, and all of which are interesting. Right now we are also planning trips away from Leicester to places such as the Houses of Parliament and trips to the EU and NATO.
