The Lounge

Following a major refurbishment over summer 2007, we are pleased to announce the arrival of the Student Union's newest bar and venue: The Lounge!

The Lounge is the student union's style bar, offering a wide range of coffees and teas, along with other hot drinks, cold drinks, alcohol and the fast and healthy lunchtime "Create-a-potata" menu. Want a filling, healthy lunch, quickly and at a good price? Then look no further than The Lounge, open every week day from 10am till 3pm

Nightimes, and the lounge transforms into a chic, intimate club bar, available for hire for private parties and birthdays, 6 days a week. Rates are amongst the cheapest in town, and it's the only venue available for hire where you can be guranteed student friendly door staff and student friendly bar prices.

Thursdays play hosts to the biggest and best student retro night in Leicester. Shampoo, playing all the classics from the 60's, 70's and a hint of the 80's, combined with a brilliant cocktail list and all the usual value for money prices you've come to expect from the Student Union, there really is nowhere else to be on a Thursday night. Door open at 11pm - don't be late!
