We need tour hosts to work on our cycling holidays in the most scenic parts of Austria and Italy. Freewheel Holidays is a well-established operation and specialises in leisurely holidays, making use of quiet country roads and cycle paths. Our clients stay in quality hotels, and expect a first class service from the tour host who is based in the region for the season.

Main responsibilities of a Tour Host :
- Transfer of clients to/from airport in minibus
- Preparation and allocation of bikes
- Introductory talk to clients and assistance to them en route if required
- Luggage transfers between hotels
- Hotel liaison

Skill requirements :
- a "people" person i.e. be able to get on with people of all backgrounds and
ages, showing confidence and a sense of humour.
- organisation : to cope with the logistical requirements of the role.
- technical competence : knowledge of bicycle mechanics and of basic repairs
- driver : you must be 21 or over with full driving licence with cat B for minibus
driving purposes.
- language skills : knowledge of German and/or Italian would be an advantage,
though not essential.

Availability :
- Austria - late May to mid-Sep 2008
- Italy : late June to mid-Sep 2008

Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed ,and if successful, receive training for the role. Closing date 30/04/08

Salary: £200 per week
